Plain language rules for booking and renting a trailer from Liberty Trailer Rentals in Liberty, Texas.

1. Agreement To Terms

By using this website, by using our online booking system, or by renting a trailer from Liberty Trailer Rentals in Liberty, Texas, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use this website or book a rental.

These terms apply to every visitor, every booking, and every rental made through Liberty Trailer Rentals, regardless of how the booking was made.

2. Rental Requirements

To rent a trailer from Liberty Trailer Rentals, you must provide a valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and a properly equipped tow vehicle rated for the trailer you are renting. A signed rental agreement is required before any trailer leaves our lot or is delivered to you.

You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information at the time of booking, including your name, contact information, and details about your tow vehicle. Liberty Trailer Rentals may decline or cancel a booking if the information provided appears inaccurate, incomplete, or fraudulent.

3. Booking And Payment

Trailer rentals are booked through the online booking system on this site. The rate shown when you complete a booking is the rate that applies to that rental. Availability is not guaranteed until a booking has been confirmed.

We offer daily, weekend, weekly, and long term rentals, whatever the job needs. A deposit may be required at pickup. Payment is handled through our booking system's payment processor.

4. Delivery And Pickup

We are based in Liberty, Texas. Pickup is available at our lot anytime between 5:30 AM and 9:00 PM. Once your booking is confirmed we arrange a pickup or delivery time with you by call or text, and we walk you through the trailer and the rental agreement before you tow away.

We offer free delivery within 10 miles of Liberty, TX, with extended delivery available up to 100 miles for an additional fee. Call or text us for a delivery quote.

5. Renter Responsibilities

Once a trailer leaves with you, or is delivered to you, you are responsible for it for the entire rental period. That includes towing it with a properly equipped tow vehicle rated for that trailer, securing the load properly, operating the trailer in a lawful and safe manner, and returning it in the same condition you received it, undamaged and on time.

Before you tow, please confirm that your vehicle and your insurance are adequate for the specific trailer you have booked. We are glad to help you sort this out at pickup.

6. Insurance

Most auto insurance policies cover rented trailers, but coverage can vary. Please confirm your coverage with your insurance provider before pickup or delivery.

7. Damage And Liability

Damage to the trailer is not covered by Liberty Trailer Rentals. Damages are the responsibility of the renter and must be paid out of pocket or through your insurance, depending on severity.

Liberty Trailer Rentals is not responsible for loss, damage, injury, or delay arising from the use of a rented trailer once it is in your possession, or from a load you have secured, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

8. Late Returns

All late returns will incur additional fees if the trailer is not returned on or before the scheduled return time. If you know you are going to run over, call or text us before the return time and we will work it out where we can.

9. Cancellations And Changes

If you need to cancel or reschedule your reservation, please contact us by phone or text as soon as you know, so we can update the schedule and keep the trailer available for other renters.

10. Permitted Use

Our trailers can be used for commercial purposes. They may not be used for any unlawful purpose, loaded beyond their rated capacity, sublet or loaned to another party, or taken outside the agreed rental terms without our approval.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute arising from a rental or from the use of this website will be handled in the courts serving Liberty County, Texas.

12. Changes To These Terms And Contact

We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted on this page at the time you book is the version that applies to that rental, and the effective date at the top of the page tells you when it was last changed.
